My product key that MS sent me does not work. I even copied and pasted it from the email but still says "setup cannot validate product key".
I went back to the website to initiate another download to get another product key but that also failed. Are product keys linked to individual downloads? I can't see how a second one would fail unless each key is associated with individual downloads. I have now ordered a DVD from the website but that could take up to a month. Is there a problem with the servers with product keys or maybe something went wrong with my download. The burn seems okay so I don't understand what has gone wrong.

product key question
No, product keys are not linked to a specific download, so I'm not sure what might be happening that is preventing it from working for you as this is the first instance where both keys that were requested have failed. ---------- Mark Dietz PROnetworks <http://www.pro-networks.org>

When I ordered my DVD, it ony took a week, so I doubt that it'll take a month. (Although I ordered it somewhat early in the Customer Preview Program.) Microsoft probably said two to four weeks to cover their you know whats. "Mark Dietz" wrote in message

hmm thanks for the help. I guess I will have to wait for the dvd to arrive. By the time they get around to shipping it they probably would have fulfilled their 2 million users. lol
